My life as a blogger has officially begun. Finally! I am an avid reader of many blogs, but have not had the opportunity, or rather, made the time to start up my own blog. Thank you State Library for the Web2.0 initiative - now I can blog at work! I realised after listening to Stephen Fry's video how unaware I was of the whole Web2.0 revolution, though of course I have been using some of the social networking sites like Facebook.
Aside from commenting about the web2.0, I am tempted to comment on the weather. I know it is cliche to want to begin talking about the weather when you are stuck for words, but believe me, this is not the case here. I think that it is something that needs to be written about, because it has been bothering me for the past few summers (and this is beside talk of global warming and drought)... I have not been inspired to go swimming or visit the beach because of the shocking temperament of the weather... nor have I bought a new bathing suit (perhaps too much information here!) when I usually do, yes, every summer. Whatever happened to the good old summer days, when it was so hot that you felt like throwing yourself in the nearest pond, even?
